Early 2025 — Upcoming artist talks

It’s been a bit quiet in these parts but I am excited to share that this March, I’ll be delivering two artist talks — one to an undergraduate course at my alma mater, the University of British Columbia in the Department of Central, Eastern and Northern European Studies (CENES), and one to the Emily Carr University or Art + Design community.

Join myself and other artists from the Reading the Migration Library (RML) — Undercurrents and Folds series for a virtual talk on Wednesday, March 19, 4 – 5:30 pm PST.

RML is a publication and event project that was initiated by Lois Klassen (Light Factory Publications) in 2017. This event will include artist talks related to the project by Deanne Achong, Lois Klassen, Candie Tanaka, Tania Willard, and Clare Yow.

I’m excited to share space with my fellow artists to talk about this project and will be joining in remotely from Daajing Giids, Haida Gwaii where I will be visiting family. See you there!
