Looking ahead to September

I’m so so heartened to be a part of Reading the Migration Library (RML3 Undercurrents and Folds) and have spent a good part of this year envisioning my artist book for this series. Thank you to hosting artists Deanne Achong and Lois Klassen for the invitation to take part.

ac·cu·mu·la·tions (2024) is my artist book comprised of a 20-page booklet and a two-sided poster in an accordion-folded cover, printed in an edition of 200 with risograph and hybrid-offset printing. It is a notebook of collected lists, phrases, archival photographs, and writings that reflect on and attempt to situate myself amidst inherited and familial histories, while caregiving and dreaming during a genocide. Learn more about my book here.

Coming up in September, the launch of artists’ books will take place throughout Vancouver, BC and on Vancouver Island, with other author events across so-called Canada.

Events will be added below to this page as they are confirmed.
